Multi-room TV and Sky Distribution

It is a common requirement that Sky (or at least terrestrial television and Freeview) be receivable in more than one location. There are a number of ways of acheiving this, all offering different benefits. We are happy to set-up anything from a basic RF distribution system through to multi-switched multi-receiver installations. We are happy to discuss the benefits and costs with you, without obligation.

Multi-Room Sound / Music

The ability to play music all around the house truly adds a feeling of luxury to any home. Plug your iPod into a wireless dock and listen whilst relaxing in the sun-lounger, reading in the dining room, cooking in the kitchen, or chatting in the lounge. We can even stream music directly from your iTunes or mp3 collection.

Media Servers

Media servers allow you store all your movies and videos on a server, ready for instantaneous playback across the home. We typically supply Kaleidescape and Fusion Research media servers, since they offer superb quality and ease of use.

Lighting

Properly designed and controlled lighting can make a massive difference to the feel of your home. For example, a large kitchen could be equipped with a sceme dimmer offering presets for cooking, eating and entertaining. As well as the flexibility that dimmable light systems afford, there are substantial efficiency benefits available.

Home-Automation and Controls

All the above technologies can be brought together by a control system and collectively referred to as a 'home automation' system. However, home automation doesn't stop at av and lighting - it is possible for the unified control system to operate heating, pool pumps, blinds/curtains, gates, cctv and pretty much anything else!
